Message	it would be easy with a toggle switch if it had 1 or 2 active wires. One wire - all you need is a SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) Toggle switch, it will let you select between completing one of two circuits or completely off. If it has two wires you just get a DPDT toggle switch.
